Andrew Purkett
Andrew Purkett's Short Bio:
Andrew was born in Rochester, Minnesota on September 13th, 1987. At a
young age he was curious as to how electronics and computers worked.
His father taught him simple basic programming before going to grade
school. He disassembled his parents VCR and reassembled it with a toy
car at age six. His parents, John and Elizabeth Purkett were both
employed by the Rochester IBM plant until moving to Longmont, Colorado
around January 1995. Both were graduates of Washington State
University. Andrew has one sibling, a sister, who recently graduated
from the LEEDS Business School at University of Colorado Boulder.
Andrew Attended montessori grade schools, a catholic middle school and
a catholic college prep high school. He is a self-taught and
self-proclaimed programming doyen. Andrew is a former member of the
TREK ski racing team at the Eldora ski resort in Northern Colorado.
