Missile Defense Agency Phase 1 STTR joint with Remote Reality Inc

The Catadioptric Canvas project is developing software for designing new optical systems that combine novel shaped mirrors with lenses to allow almost any user-defined mapping between the world and the imaging sensor. The design will focused on foveated wide-field of view sensor. UCCS is working on the general software, based on early work by Columbia University, and Remote Reality is working on the optical construction and insuring the designs are manufacturable.
