Chris Eberle I'm a Computer Science major currently in my senior year as an undergraduate here at UCCS. I started at the VAST lab in January of 2007. My interests include graphics, computer vision, security, and cryptography (unfortunately I'm not an expert in any of these, but I hope to be). My hobbies include camping and photography. Oh yeah, and I'm a die-hard Linux fanatic.

From January 2007 until September 2007 I worked on the Stegi project. Currently I'm working as one of the system administrators until the lab's servers have been restored to a working state.

I'm also working on the GigE project right now which is an attempt to create an open source driver for the GigE protocol. The GigE protocol is a way of streaming video over a standard ethernet connection. After first creating an application to interact with the camera, the proprietary libraries and drivers will be replaced by open source ones developed for this project. Eventually there should be a Linux kernel module available.

If you like photography, or just enjoy the pointless rantings of yet another unnecessary blog on the interweb-blogosphere, then check out my website.
