Beauty in my eye
by Terrance Boult
Beauty beams from thy bronzed brow
Shimmering off your soft sweet smile
Engaging my glance and then some how
You steal my senses for a while.
The web you weave is strong indeed
Entirely enticing me
Your tying twine is all I need,
By binding me you set me free.
Though your beauty first bound my heart,
That is not why I am here today.
For even from the very start
'Twas true love that made me stay
Your beauty, thought, shall not die
For love 's engraved it in my eye.
