Real Time Vision Algorithms
 
In conjunction with the IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision, ICCV'99 we present the website for workshop #2, FRAME-RATE: Frame-rate Applications, Methods and Experiences with Regularly Available  Technology  and Equipment.

OBJECTIVE:

Inexpensive consumer level hardware is already powerful enough to run applications that make use of computer vision.  This workshop attempts to give you the tools and algorithms you need to exploit this niche -- consumer level real time vision. As such, the papers here are intended to be clear enough to implement with discussion of efficient implementation. This workshop is also partly tutorial on such topics as MMX optimization for computer vision applications, the use of VTUNE to profile vision code and discussion of a highly optimized computer vision library and other libraries available for free on the net.
